South Leicester Police - Cannabis Grow.

Dear South Leicester Resident.

You are receiving the following message as you are a resident living on the area covered by the Freemen police beat team.

A cannabis grow was recently located in the Lansdowne Road area, information was received that the property was possibly being used to store and cultivate cannabis. Officers have attended gained access and found the farm in the upper part of the building, around 6 bags were seized with the growing equipment and plants now destroyed.

An individual inside was arrested for cultivation and for another unrelated offences. 

The initial information received was divisive in gaining access to the property and allowed for officers to attend fully prepared with a supply of cannabis now destroyed and prevented from being dealt in the community.
